R&D with PROFIT funding
Project co-funded by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, under the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2004-2007.

R&D with PLAN AVANZA funding
The project, reference number TSI-020100-2008-302, is also co-financed by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade as part of the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2008-2011.

Among the R&D and Innovation activities carried out by Linguaserve since its foundation is the PLINT project (Platform for Localisation, Internationalisation and Translation Standardisation). The aim of the project is to find new ways of working which increase quality and productivity. We need to make the best use of existing web, management and language technologies, as well as the results of previous projects and new research in such a way as to improve content and document management, and translation and localisation processes.

To this end research is being carried out to develop an architecture capable of integrating all aspects of the process, automating format management and treatment processes and assisting human translation tasks as much as possible. The project is also looking in to the study, analysis, definition, development and testing of the integrated system for new processes and services defined in regulation UNE-EN 15038:2006.
